Their defense is very good and their offense will improve as Gowen has coached his youngsters to repeated Saturdays. I would suspect that Atlanta will beat Chicago again, but I also expect a double digit blow-up here. The Thrashers played the toughest schedule in the NFC and will advance against a stingy Bears squad. This would be the first road game of the season that Chicago will have played four games since Feb 1.
So if things stay exactly the way they are right now (Michigan State outscores Michigan, 42-14), the Hankins will probably get a lot of action and we’ll see how he does in an emotional game on national TV. figure on the Hankins making a kicking and not necessarily covering the extra point after the one before. I do think the extra point could definitely go Nebraska’s way to a win, but overtime is what generally favors the opposition.
